Monday: rates are starting 2009 on a somewhat flimsy basis ... the market is coming to grips with the fact that the Fed is now dictating rates. Many Loanlane visitors have asked "will rates go lower"? Certainly I don't know for sure, but the Fed seems to be implying lower rates are ahead, as they use phrases like "pulling out all the stops". The goal of course is to invigorate the economy, and I suspect that rates will move lower in light of this goal.
